The name 'Zester' & the branding

"The name Zester immediately felt right: short, spicy and fresh. It refers to the peel of citrus fruits, but also to the 'zest' that we want to give to the soft drink world. Our branding is playful and clear, just like our drink: pure, artisanal, and with a quirky wink."

The Birth of Zester

Zester was founded by Philippe and Veerle – two entrepreneurs with complementary backgrounds and a shared love for taste and creativity.

Philippe is the master fermenter and entrepreneur behind Zester. With his experience in the food sector, fermentation and financial management, he has an impeccable eye for detail and quality. He develops our recipes with passion and precision and manages the production and business side of things. His commercial approach and analytical eye ensure that Zester can grow in a healthy way.

Veerle brings her creative flair and strategic insight as co-founder. As an experienced art director and copywriter in the advertising sector, with a broad expertise in branding and marketing, she ensures the unique appearance of Zester. From the logo and corporate identity to the campaigns and creative content: everything you see and read breathes her vision. She is the driving force behind Zester's strong brand identity and storytelling.
